Project Overview
This project was developed as a complex scheduling interface for The Big Retreat Festival, a wellness and lifestyle event. The goal was to create a dynamic weekly timetable (Monday to Sunday) where users can filter events by category or type (e.g., yoga, talks, music). The timetable dynamically updates based on selected filters and can be printed with only the relevant data displayed. The tool enhances user experience by helping attendees plan their week in a clean and structured format.
Challenges
Building a highly interactive, multi-day timetable that responds instantly to user filters and categories posed both UI and data challenges. Ensuring that the filtered content translated accurately into a clean printable format without visual breaks required detailed logic and custom CSS handling.
Results
The end result was a fully functional and user-friendly scheduling platform that allowed attendees to customize, filter, and print their personal festival schedules. The tool significantly improved planning efficiency and reduced confusion around overlapping or optional events.
