A personal web app built for streamlining internship applications, featuring admin dashboard, WhatsApp integration, and Supabase backend.
Project Overview
Career Climb is a custom built React web application designed to simplify internship hiring. Created in response to high demand from students, it allows applicants to submit their details including resume and portfolio via a simple form. The system automatically redirects users to WhatsApp with a unique application ID while storing data in Supabase for admin access.
Challenges
Building a seamless connection between form submission, Supabase data storage, and WhatsApp redirection was the key challenge. Implementing a user friendly dashboard with real time analytics, filters, and search functionality also required thoughtful state management and UI logic.
Results
This project significantly improved my skills in full stack development and automation. The application successfully helped hire 3 interns, proved its functionality in a real-world use case, and allowed me to build an efficient hiring pipeline through a self developed platform.
