Project Overview
WebSnapper is a utility tool developed for a client who needed a fast and simple solution to capture screenshots of multiple websites. The web app allows users to input multiple URLs (each on a new line) or upload a CSV file containing links. Users can capture screenshots, preview them, and download each individually or all at once in a ZIP file. The UI was built to be lightweight, clean, and mobile-responsive using Bootstrap.
Challenges
The main challenge was handling bulk screenshot capture smoothly and providing reliable preview and download functionality. Implementing ZIP download with multiple asynchronous screenshot requests and ensuring responsiveness across devices added to the complexity.
Results
The final product is a seamless and efficient screenshot tool that meets all client requirements. Users can easily input or upload links, capture screenshots with one click, and download results quickly, improving productivity for marketing and research use cases.
