Project Overview
Lauren & Co is a well-known salon in the UK, recognized for offering high-quality treatments, bridal hair, and makeup services. The client provided me with a Figma design for their new website, and my task was to replicate it into a functional WordPress website using Elementor. The goal was to capture the elegance and relaxing atmosphere of the salon while ensuring the site remained fast, responsive, and SEO-friendly. I built the homepage with a modern hero section, smooth animations, image sliders, and service highlights, while also creating inner pages for services, about, and contact. The website reflects the salon’s spa-like feel with a balance of luxury and simplicity.
Challenges
The main challenge was replicating the Figma design pixel-perfectly into Elementor while keeping the animations lightweight and fast-loading. The design contained modern sections, sliders, and subtle animations, which required careful optimization to avoid performance issues. Another challenge was ensuring the website worked seamlessly on mobile, tablets, and desktop while maintaining the same aesthetic appeal.
Results
